What inspired this painting: Inspired by hikes in Vernon Nature Trails towards Lake of the Woods, many people know the stand of tall pines on the way. This painting represents optimism, and hope. It offers a perspective of how small we are in relation to the Universe, how small and far away problems feel when in the forest, and personally speaking, how embraced I feel, just being in the forest.

The print was bought as a birthday gift and the recipient loved it.
My first reaction when I saw the print was wow! “how eye catching”
Choosing art for someone else is not recommended but I felt this one was a winner.
